2023 is a special year for The Golden Hinde. We have launched our 50th Anniversary Fundraising Campaign, and ask you to help us continue to keep this ship afloat for another 50 years and to educate generations to come.  

Every year, it costs £150,000 to maintain the ship in the way it would have existed in the 16th century, using master craftspeople and boatbuilders from around the globe. 

The Golden Hinde is an incredible educational resource and offers an enganging experience to our visitors. We receive no funding and rely on paying visitors to stay open, your support means the ship can be enjoyed by many more people in the future.
